The only Amigas currently available new are ancient A1200s.
I suggest hanging on for a couple of months and seeing which of
AmigaOne, BPlan or BoXeR is then available.
Merlancia have some planned products too.
There's a lot going on behind the scenes.
As for booting from CD, this is an OS feature. The CD32 booted from CD.
It depends on having a basic CD driver in ROM. Whether AmigaOS 4 will
have this is unknown.
